Springtime in Colonial Williamsburg

A spring day in Colonial Williamsburg!

Colonial Williamsburg has to be one of the best places to visit in Springtime. Spring starts in early to mid February in Williamsburg. There are over eighty-five gardens encompassing three hundred acres of land in and around the historic area. The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation does an amazing job in the massive plantings of spring flowers in these gardens. The Garden Tour Week is a popular time for visitors all over the Country to visit Colonial Williamsburg. The weather in April and May in Williamsburg is very pleasant, before it gets very hot. You can enjoy the gardens and see the newborn lambs. Historic Garden Week is usually the last week of April. Please visit: Williamsburg - Historic Garden Week in Virginia (vagardenweek.org) for more information.
